Re: Report writing with LaTeX
This is a nice video on why Overleaf is good for academic journal writing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58CoXgze71Y&t=4s
If you don't mind the rather abrupt stoppages for adverts, just ignore them.
I have made a post on https://personaljournal.ca/paulsutton/w ... c-articles about this too.

Re: Report writing with LaTeX
I have also found this video which I shared on my website, on how to write lab reports in LaTeX.
https://personaljournal.ca/paulsutton/t ... d-overleaf
So posting link to my website as there are lots of other links to useful resources on there too.
Would be great to be able to help more people get stared using LaTeX at the very least, we need people to use it and also, importantly know there is a good support network to help people.

Referencing
I have also shared some videos on my personal blog on referencing using BiBTeX etc.
https://personaljournal.ca/paulsutton/h ... tex-bibtex
As a related link there is a guide on Harvard Style Referencing at https://www.imperial.ac.uk/admin-servic ... ard-style/ produced by Imperial college London.
As this uses the natbib package, then the package manual is at https://www.ctan.org/pkg/natbib.
Which may be helpful, different institutions will have their own requirements on style.
